At Dance Like A Cupcake we believe, avoiding cross-contact between a safe food and an allergen-containing food is essential to preparing safe products for our customers with food allergies.
We have a dedicated Dairy Free, Tree Nut Free, Peanut Free and Egg Free Kitchen at all times, but we have protocols in place to best avoid Cross Contamination on shared equipment areas.
Shared equipment areas include: countertops, oven, freezer, refrigerator (all ingredients are stored in large bins and secured).
We wash our hands with soap and warm water thoroughly and use gloves at all times during the baking process.
If needed, we change clothes to ensure we do not spread allergens while baking.
Before and after baking we sanitize and disinfect all equipment and surfaces.
We use disposable coverings on countertop areas
All ingredients and bakeware are stored in secured locations.
We make and bake one order at a time.
We clean our appliances regularly to avoid build up of food particles.
We always double check ingredients because manufacturers can change ingredients without notice.
